Is Stormlight archive related to Mistborn?

Most readers have noticed that my adult fantasy novels are in a connected universe, called the Cosmere. This includes The Stormlight Archive, both Mistborn series, Elantris, Warbreaker, and various novellas available on Amazon, including The Emperor’s Soul, which won a Hugo Award in 2013.

Is Mistborn part of Stormlight?

Current series in the cosmere are the Elantris trilogy, Mistborn series, Warbreaker (and its eventual sequel), The Stormlight Archive, and White Sand. It’s not difficult, just pay attention to character names and descriptions early on bc a lot are introduced really quickly and when I first read it, I got everyone mixed up bc I didn’t pay as much attention, so I had to go back and re-read the beginning. The novel was published on August 31, 2010, by Tor Books. The Way of Kings consists of one prelude, one prologue, 75 chapters, an epilogue and 9 interludes. It was followed by Words of Radiance in 2014, Oathbringer in 2017 and Rhythm of War in 2020.

Is Stormlight Archive stand alone?

A standalone edition of Edgedancer was published on October 17, 2017. The second novella, Dawnshard, featuring the characters Rysn and Lopen, was published in November 2020 and takes place in the one-year gap between Oathbringer and Rhythm of War.
